A continuous aluminium weight stabilization bar is sewn into the bottom of the tapestry to keep the tapestry straight when hung.*

Additional Info: The original painting (completed 1903) by Edmund Blair Leighton (1852-1922) depicts the Dauphine Margaret of Scotland, eldest daughter of James I of Scotland, kissing the poet & political French writer Alain Chartier (1385-1430) for the beautiful things he had written. Edmund Blair Leighton is famous for his romantic and medieval themed paintings in the style of the pre-Raphaelite movement.

Care & Cleaning:
Made with the highest quality of materials, the design is jacquard woven (not printed) and is completely dry-cleanable. The tapestry can also be ironed, steam cleaned, spot cleaned and Scotch Guarded if required.
